What size skip do I need?
Be realistic about what you need to dispose of - two skips can be far more expensive than one big one!
Call us on 01273 418648 or email and we will discuss the type of waste you need to dispose of and how much there is, and we will advise on the most appropriate size skip for your needs. Then simply place your order directly by phone or by email.
Prices are dependent on the size of skip, the more waste the higher the cost. Prices start at xxxxx. The cost of the skip covers the number of days you have the skip, our haulage costs for delivery and collection, and an assurance that as much of your waste as possible will be recycled.
Cheque or cash to driver or if you are un able to be present we can take credit or debit cards over the phone.
What can I put in the skip?

Where does my waste go?
Skip-It guarantee to take 100% of their skips back to our licensed recycling facility. Here we will do a full sort and anything that can be recovered will be recycled.
Skips cannot be placed on the road outside your house without a permit and correct signage and lights. They can be placed on your own driveway or private land but remember there may be certain areas, such as grass verges outside your house, that may not be owned by you.
Yes, we can advise on how to obtain a permit from the local authority, and will help with correct signage and lights for the skip.
Skips must not be overloaded. Not only can this prove a problem in picking up the skip, it also poses a hazard to motorists and pedestrians and is highly illegal. The correct way of loading is for the waste inside not to exceed the top of the walls of the skip, particularly if the waste is predominately brick and rubble.
The vehicles delivering the skips to your property are LGVs and normally very large. We therefore need to ensure there is sufficient access to your property and on to the area where the skip is needed (if not on the road). Please call us to discuss approximate dimensions.
Sometimes, due to the stabilising equipment on a skip vehicle, damage can occur to the ground where the skip is positioned. This is especially applicable to block paved and soft tarmac. Call us and we’ll be happy to advise.
Once your skip has been placed in a position agreed by you with our driver it must not be moved.
We have the full range, if you can’t see what you need call us.
